LOOKING FOR WORK?

Organizers of the upcoming Wood Tech Show in Portland, Ore. are staying in tune with the current state of the industry. They have partnered up with Adecco, a leader in recruiting and workforce solutions, to assist with the Wood Tech Career Development Center, which will be located at this year’s show.

The Career Development Center will aid those affected by the recent changes in the marketplace and provide them with career guidance, along with help in applying for open positions.

Located on the show floor in booth 857, the Career Development Center will be open during all three days of the show, which runs from March 9 to March 11. The purpose of the Career Development Center is to act as a gathering place for the community of wood processing professionals, including exhibitors and attendees, to post and view available job positions, receive career advice, seek resume counseling, and to take advantage of interviewing assistance from Adecco.

Representatives from Adecco will be on hand from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9th and Wednesday, March 10th in the Career Development Center booth. “We are thrilled about the potential benefit this new event has, not only for those in our industry displaced by recent changes, but possibly those looking to get into our industry,” stated Brian Pagel, Wood Tech Show director. "This event not only offers a great opportunity for those seeking jobs, but also provides a chance for everyone to expand their professional network with key decision makers in the wood community and increase their marketability.”
